Rhassoul clay is exceptionally high quality clay from ancient deposits unearthed from the fertile Atlas Mountains of Morocco where it has been used for over 1400 years as a skin conditioner, soap, and shampoo.

This clay has a long history, and was used in ancient Rome and Egypt by those of nobility (Egypt’s “beauty secret”).

Rhassoul is a highly absorbent clay, particularly rich in minerals such as Silica, Magnesium, Iron, Calcium, Potassium and Sodium. This clay improves skin clarity, removes dead layers, smooths texture and improves elasticity.

It also helps detoxify the skin while it exfoliates gently. The silica, magnesium, potassium, and calcium work together to detoxify the skin and hair by exchanging themselves for toxic compounds. The toxins are thus replaced with the nourishing trace minerals. It contains more trace minerals than other clays.

Keep the soap dry between uses to extend its life. Do not leave it sitting in water.
