From $10.00
Unit price perOur organically crafted Melissa Essential Oil also commonly known as Lemon Balm Essential Oil, is steam distilled from the wonderfully fragrant flowers and leaves of the perennial Melissa officinalis herb nurtured in the Bulgarian countryside. Melissa Oil is considered one of the most powerfully medicinal essential oils in all of aromatherapy, with a a bright, lemony, herbaceous aroma that most individuals find very pleasant and uplifting. The herb received the name Melissa because of its sweet, fresh, citrus-like fragrance, which is known to attract bees (Melissa is Greek for honey bee).
A luscious herb with a sweet aroma, Melissa has serrated leaves and petite white and pink flowers. Both the flowers and the leaves are put through a steam distillation method to extract and capture the essential oil. An exceptionally low yield (about 0.05%) makes Melissa (Lemon Balm) Oil a very costly oil and one that is commonly adulterated with inexpensive oils like Lemongrass, Citronella and Litsea Cubeba. Known by many to be a true aromatic elixir, Melissa's unassuming power makes it a vital component of any essential oil pharmacy.
Intensely refreshing, our divinely aromatic Melissa (Lemon Balm) Oil is a gentle yet potent fusion of calming, nurturing and vitality promoting properties. Along with being a powerful support when looking to reduce unwanted microbes, Lemon Balm Essential Oil is also a helpful agent in minor pain and inflammation management. We often turn to this essential oil when looking to reduce the presence of unwanted bacterial, fungal, or viral activity. It is our top choice when looking to lessen the longevity and impact of unwanted cold sores. Melissa Essential Oil is among the most potent of all natural essential oils for enhancing deep wellness during the challenging winter months. Within skin care applications, it is a lovely oil for supporting healthy, vibrant skin and for soothing irritated skin.
Emotionally and energetically, Melissa Essential Oil is warm and radiant. This potent oil has been known for centuries as an elixir of the heart because of its uplifting and mood enhancing qualities when trying to work through situational anxiety and/or depression. Melissa (Lemon Balm) Essential Oil encourages emotional harmony, pacifies anger, encourages restful sleep and provides comfort during times of great stress or when grieving a deep loss.

Unit price perRhassoul Clay is an exceptional clay with multipurpose assets. It is mined in the fertile Atlas Mountains of Morocco and has been used for over 12 centuries by population in North Africa, Southern Europe and Middle East.

Rhassoul is a super fine ancient clay that comes from deep below the Atlas Mountains in Morocco. Although it is difficult to obtain from the deep clay beds, it has been used for centuries by the ancient people of Rome and Egypt.
Rhassoul is a highly absorbent clay, particularly rich in minerals such as Silica, Magnesium, Iron, Calcium, Potassium and Sodium. It improves skin clarity, removes dead layers, smooths texture and improves elasticity.
It also helps detoxify the skin while it exfoliates gently. Rhassoul clay is used by the finest spas around the world. It is appropriate for all skins types especially sensitive or mature.
It is used in many professional applications in spas and it aids in rejuvenation, detoxification and toning of the skin. It can be used in soaps, shampoos, facial, hair, body masks and skin conditioners.

Leave on for 10 to 15 minutes until dry. Rinse with warm water. Pat skin dry.

Unit price perMoroccan Rhassoul clay soap bar. Deep pore cleansing, and deeply detoxifying, with a rich lather; ideal for all skin care; face, body and even hair! The slippery smooth feel of this lather also makes it great for shaving.
Rhassoul clay from Morocco deep cleans, gently exfoliates and removes impurities leaving skin soft and silky. Its toning action revitalizes the complexion and tightens pores.
The natural benefits of rhassoul clay are suitable for all skin types, including: eczema, psoriasis, acne, dry or oily patches, as well as dandruff, thinning and fine hair.
Rhassoul clay is exceptionally high quality clay from ancient deposits unearthed from the fertile Atlas Mountains of Morocco where it has been used for over 1400 years as a skin conditioner, soap, and shampoo.
This clay has a long history, and was used in ancient Rome and Egypt by those of nobility (Egypt’s “beauty secret”).
Rhassoul is a highly absorbent clay, particularly rich in minerals such as Silica, Magnesium, Iron, Calcium, Potassium and Sodium. This clay improves skin clarity, removes dead layers, smooths texture and improves elasticity.
It also helps detoxify the skin while it exfoliates gently. The silica, magnesium, potassium, and calcium work together to detoxify the skin and hair by exchanging themselves for toxic compounds. The toxins are thus replaced with the nourishing trace minerals. It contains more trace minerals than other clays.
Keep the soap dry between uses to extend its life. Do not leave it sitting in water.

Unit price perThis light-coloured Multani Mitti clay is the result of decomposed volcanic ash. The name, Fuller's earth, comes from this clay's use in the early English wool industry. It was used by fullers to clean and degrease woolen cloth during the 'fulling' process, because of its ability to absorb oil.
Multani Mitti is also one of the earliest substances to be used as a beauty mask. Multani mitti is said to make your skin radiant and appealing by getting rid of blemishes and acne scars. On the other hand, it also hydrates the skin, clears up black heads and whiteheads, and flushes out toxins. Deep cleansing with Multani Mitti helps to remove impurities and dead skin cells, allowing the skin to breathe and absorb moisturizing cream more easily into the skin, leaving you feeling glowing and refreshed!
Multani Mitti or Fuller’s earth has been used by Indian women for centuries to take care of their skincare problems like acne, blackheads, etc. Though most modern women now prefer to use branded products, they could still try using the humble multani mitti as it is not only cheaper but could also save them from side effects of artificial cosmetics.
Multani mitti has a rich content of magnesium chloride which helps in the reduction of acne and blemishes. You can get rid of whiteheads and blackheads naturally with multani mitti. It is very good for oily skin as it absorbs the excess oil thereby reducing the chances of new pimples.
Applying a multani mitti face pack cleanses the skin and frees it from dirt, oil and dead skin cells.
Its healing properties reduce redness. Using it regularly will further relieve the skin from acne scars and inflammation.
Multani mitti is also good for getting rid of tanning and pigmentation as it has a soothing effect on the skin.
If you have oily skin, make a paste of multani mitti and rose water or water with a pinch of turmeric in it – the paste should be thin in consistency. Apply it on your face and neck area, avoiding the area around the eyes. Leave it to dry and then rinse it off with water. Remember, do not talk or make too many facial movements after you apply any face pack.
If your skin is normal to dry, replace the rose water with milk.
If you want to get rid of acne on your face, make a paste consisting multani mitti, neem, camphor (kapur) and rose water or water. Apply it once a week to get good results.
To remove blemish and pimple marks, mix multani mitti with some freshly squeezed tomato juice. Add a hint of sandalwood powder and turmeric to it and apply the pack on your face.
If you have dark spots, add yoghurt and mint leaves in multani mitti, make a paste and apply it on the spots for half an hour before rinsing it off with lukewarm water.
Even if you do not suffer skin problems like acne, scars etc, apply multani mitti mixed with some essential oil. This will make your skin smoother and supple and add a glow to it.

Neem Oil
About 75% of Ayurvedic remedies contain some form of neem! Indians call the sacred neem tree "the village pharmacy", and have limitless faith in its abilities.
Neem oil is pressed out of the seeds obtained from neem trees. In addition to its use as an organic insecticide spray, it has been used medicinally and in the cosmetics industry.
Neem oil is used on humans, on animals, and on plants, for a huge range of different problems.
How to use 100% pure cold-pressed Neem Oil:
Recommended ratio for making spray solution: mix 1 teaspoon pure neem oil in a quart of warm water and 1/4 tsp. castile soap. Shake it well to mix properly. Quantity of neem oil can be increased proportionately for making spray in larger quantities.
Here is some ways to use Neem oil below. Remember: to keep your dilution of Neem oil to about 2 - 5% of any mixture that you apply directly onto your skin. Some of the recipes below use higher percentages - but keep a lookout for any skin irritation.
Cuts, wounds, minor skin disorders and mosquito and insect repellant. Mix with a carrier oil in a ratio of 1:5 and apply to affected area.
Athlete’s foot. Add 15 ml to warm water and soak the feet in this preparation.
Head lice. Mix 50/50 with a carrier oil and massage into the hair and scalp. Leave on for 1 hour and shampoo. Repeat once weekly for 3 weeks or as long as the problem persists.
Stop mosquitoes breeding. Spray or pour oil on all breeding areas. The oil can be emulsified (to mix with water) by adding Castile or any natural liquid soap.
Plant protection. Add 30 ml to 1 liter of water and add 1 ml of castile or any natural soap. Mix well and spray immediately for plant protection. Do not store the mixture; make fresh formulation for each spray. Spray the mixture on top of all the leaves and on the undersides where insects often hide – you can also spray it around the roots.
Lamp oil to ward off mosquitoes. Add 5 – 10% oil to any lamp oil and burn lamp normally.
Dandruff and itchy scalp. Add a few drops to your regular shampoo.
Ticks and fleas on animals. Add a few drops to your normal pet shampoo (ratio should be 30 ml (1 oz.) to 240 ml (8 oz.) shampoo). Personally we have found that plain castile soap works the best.
Warts. Apply 1 drop of undiluted oil directly on warts once per day. Watch carefully for any possible irritation, and should that occur discontinue use. Continue for 2-3 weeks.
Psoriasis, cold sores, eczema, athletes foot, skin ulcers and other fungal skin conditions. Mix 1 tablespoon (15 ml) with 4 ounces (120 ml) carrier oil such as jojoba or grape seed oil and apply twice a day to affected skin. Should skin irritation occur, discontinue use, or make mixture with less Neem oil.
Pet and livestock spray for ticks, fleas, mange mites and other pests. Mix 1 ounce (30 ml) oil with 1 gallon (3.8 liter) water and add a few drops of Castile Soap (to emulsify the oil). Place mixture into a spray bottle or other type of sprayer, and spray animals once every two weeks. (This mixture can be used on indoor and outdoor plants as well as flowers and vegetables.)
Cleaning the house. Add to carpet shampoos and spray mattresses to kill dust mites.
Hand wash. Add a couple of drops to liquid hand soap for antibacterial properties.
FOR ALL THE ABOVE. As Neem oil has a rather strong smell you might want to add a few drops of essential oil to any mixture to mask the smell. Lavender or lemongrass essential oils work well – but you could add your personal favorite. Store neem oil in a cool dark place, away from sunlight. In case neem oil solidifies due to low temperatures, put the bottle in warm water (below 95 degree F) to liquefy. Putting the bottle in very hot water may reduce the effectiveness of oil.

From $25.00
Unit price perNeroli Essential Oil increases circulation and stimulates new cell growth. It can prevent scarring and stretch marks, and has been found useful in treating skin conditions linked to emotional stress. Any type of skin can benefit from this oil, although it is particularly good for dry, irritated or sensitive skin. It regulates oiliness and minimizes enlarged pores. Neroli Oil helps to clear acne and blemished skin, especially if the skin lacks moisture. With regular treatment, it can reduce the appearance of fragile or broken capillaries and varicose veins. Other properties include being antidepressant, antiseptic, antispasmodic, aphrodisiac, carminative, cordial, deodorant, digestive, stimulant (nervous) and tonic (cardiac, circulatory).
Neroli essential oil or orange blossom oil supports the digestive system and nervous system. Known for its healing effects on the mind, body and spirit it is a highly regarded oil used in Ancient Egypt.
It is produced from the orange blossom flower. When using this oil one feels very present. It takes about 1000 pounds of orange blossom flower to make 1 pound of Neroli oil.
Although the use of Neroli and orange blossoms go back to Ancient Egypt, the word Neroli was taken from a French born Italian princess, Anne-Marie de la Tremoille who was the Countess of Nerola. She introduced the oil in 1670 and used it for perfume and cologne.
Neroli essential oil is all about staying in the present moment and not reminiscing of the past; or even worrying about the future. For us to manifest what we want we must be completely in our power and be present energetically in the moment.
Interesting that panic and fear, are produced when we separate our mind and body. This is because we are literally in two different places. Neroli brings us back to one plane quickly and provides protection as well.
Neroli essential oil has been used for thousands of years to accelerate self-actualization by keeping us in the present, and gathering many of our scattered parts in the different etheric levels. It opens the heart and releases emotions of powerless and self imposed restriction.
Use diluted - 50:50 dilution (one part essential oil: one part of carrier oil). Then, apply several drops (2-4) on location, ankles and wrists. Apply to chakras/vitaflex points. Directly inhale or diffuse.
What Chakra is Affected? Sacral, heart and crown chakras.
What is the Corresponding Chakra Color? Green.

Energetic Observations: This oil unwinds blockages in the abdomen, powerfully - unwinding blockages in the sexual organs. Now it’s going into the hara center, opening that up - drawing higher energy in through the hara & going down into the sexual organs. Now it connects into the nerves, and CNS, and traveling up the spine, connecting to the solar plexus, pancreas, heart chakra, thymus, turquoise chakra. Now it draws in higher energy through the heart chakra, bringing that energy up to the thymus, & into the throat, the head - up to the Third eye. The crown chakra is opening, drawing energy in through the crown, bringing it down through the throat chakra and the thymus - really opening that center - going down to the solar plexus, opening that wide, going down & meeting the energy in the hara center, & now it’s expanding everything, all the chakras, out into the universal grid. And so with the second chakra, & so with the first chakra. Now it’s balancing all the energy in the subtle bodies, connecting everything in to the grid - connected all the chakras, beginning with the second chakra, the creative center. Now the Kundalini is activated.

The primary ingredients of oregano oil are the phenols, Carvacrol (60-80%) and Thymol (5%) which provide the antiseptic and antioxidant components. They are also the terpenes, pinene and terinene which contribute to the antiseptic, antiviral, anti-inflammatory and anesthetic properties.
Thymol is a natural fungicide with antiseptic properties. It is the active ingredient in Listerine mouthwash. Thymol is also an immune system booster and a shield against toxins. It is capable of preventing tissue damage and encouraging healing.
Warts and skin tags: Apply one drop morning and night using a Q-tip applied to the affected area. Keep at it and within a few weeks, the warts will shrink appreciably and the skin tags will fall off. Another way to do this is to add a mixture of half oregano oil and half fractionated coconut oil to a roller bottle and dab twice daily until they are gone.
Psoriasis: Mix with a carrier oil or salve (see more about carrier oils below) and apply topically twice a day. There is also some medical evidence that drinking a glass of water twice daily with 2 – 6 drops of Oregano oil added helps with the symptoms of psoriasis.
DIY Hand Sanitizer: Combine 10 drops of oregano oil with two tablespoons of coconut oil. Rub it into your hands as a natural hand sanitizer.
Natural Insect Repellent: Mix a few drops in a carrier oil or salve and rub over your skin to repel insects. You can also mix oregano oil with water in a spray bottle to create your own insect spray. Be sure to shake it up before using since the oil will separate a bit in the water.
Control Itching: Apply diluted oregano oil to insect bites and skin rashes to relieve itching.
Diaper Rash: Mix with coconut oil or plain ole salve (naked salve) to sooth and heal diaper rash.
Fight infection: Rub a few drops of oregano oil into your gums to fight an infection.
Sickness and Flu: Diffuse Oregano essential oil in your favorite diffuser to help quickly get rid of the flu or any other sickness.
Sinus infections and colds: Place a few drops of oregano oil in a pot of steaming water. Carefully inhale the steam, being careful not to get burned. You can also dilute in carrier oil then place under the nostrils to provide additional relieve for sinus infections.
Sore Throat: To ease the pain of a sore throat, simply add one or two drops of oregano essential oil to a glass of water of juice and drink it.
Arthritis: Dilute in a carrier oil and rub onto painful joints to decrease swelling.
Dandruff: Add a few drops to your regular shampoo being mindful to keep the shampoo and oregano oil out of your eyes.
Eczema: Control eczema by blending oregano oil with carrier oil or salve and applying topically.
Athlete’s foot: Dilute in a carrier oil and apply directly 2-3 times a day. You can also add a few drops to baking soda to sprinkle inside your shoes for added protection.

Relieve Sore Muscles: Dilute in carrier oil or lotion then gently massage on the affected area. Repeat up to three times a day.
Congestion: Dilute in your favorite carrier oil or lotion and apply to the chest area. For nasal congestion, try adding one or two drops of oregano essential oil on a clean handkerchief and inhale the vapour.
Treat Parasites: Combine 1 drop of Oregano oil with 1 drop of a carrier oil. Place under the tongue and hold it for a few minutes before rinsing the mouth with water. Repeat up to four times a day.
Acne: Dip a Q-tip into the oil and apply directly to zits aka acne. The oil will kill the bacteria and reduce the inflammation. For the very best results, do this twice a day morning and night immediately after washing your face.
Mouthwash: Add a few drops to a glass of water to sweeten your breath and kill the bacteria that can lead to gum disease and gingivitis.
Ringworm: To kill ringworm, apply 3 to 6 drops of oregano oil to the effected area.
Skin Infections: Dilute in coconut oil and apply topically to boost the healing of skin infections.
Cleaning Supplies: Add a few drops to your DIY cleaning supplies to give them an antiseptic and disinfectant boost. This is especially effective in the kitchen and in the bathroom.
Laundry: Add a few drops to your load of laundry to kill bacteria or parasites and also to leave your clothes smelling nice and fresh.
Fungus and Mold: Mix with water and spray the shower to prevent fungus and mold from growing. This also works in other warm, humid areas of your home.
Oregano oil is considered a hot oil. What this means is that it can burn or cause some irritation when used undiluted. Other hot oils include cinnamon or clove oil. When using Oregano oil “neat” (undiluted) apply carefully with a Q-tip and do not spread it beyond the affected area. For most applications, my recommendation is that it should be diluted for all but spot treatments (such as warts and skin tags).
There are about a dozen or so essential oils that belong in every survival kit including, among others, lavender, peppermint, clove bud, rosemary and lemon or other citrus oil. I definitely include Oregano essential oil in the list of must-haves. It is inexpensive, effective and readily available. Not only that, along with lemon, it is considered to be one of the safest essential oils to ingest.

| History |
One of the most potent and powerful of the essential oils, oregano oil has a long and ancient history of medicinal uses. Hippocrates wrote extensively about oil of wild oregano, singing its praises as a cure for digestive ailments, skin conditions and respiratory diseases. There is also evidence that in ancient Greece, oregano oil was used for the treatment of headaches, wounds, snakebites, spider bites and even the common cold. Its name is actually derived from the Greek phrase, "joy of the mountains". Just married couples were crowned with wreaths of Oregano, and it was placed on graves to give peace to departed spirits. |
| Warnings | If you are pregnant, consult a qualified aromatherapist for suitability and safety of specific oils. Many oils should not be used during pregnancy, some only need to be avoided for the first 3 - 4 months. |
