Frankincense Oil, Olibanum Oil or Oil of Lebanon is a ancient essential oil used to support the immune system. It is also a valuable ingredient in skin care products for aging and dry skin. For centuries this oil has helped us harness the power of our own connection on a emotional, spiritual and mental level!
Useful for visualizing, improving one's spiritual connection, and centering, it has comforting properties that help focus the mind and overcome stress and despair.
Frankincense is considered a holy oil in the Middle East and we know that it was given to Christ at the time of his birth. The uses and benefits of Frankincense date back way before the time of Christ to the Egyptians and Sumerians.
Today, we know through Chemistry that Frankincense contains sesquiterpenes that stimulate the part of the brain that controls emotions.
Frankincense oil has been used to awaken our spiritual awareness and connect with spirit for 5000 years or more. It will help us release parts of our ego which hold us back from connecting with our soul, as well as feelings of unworthiness and insecurity.
Once we are able to connect with our spiritual side, we can embrace our true purpose in the world and become more spiritually driven rather than ego driven.
Use Frankincense during meditation to connect with spirit and stay centered in meditation.

Unit price perVegetable Glycerine is a clear, colorless, and odorless viscous liquid. It is used as an agent in cosmetics, toothpaste, shampoos, soaps, herbal remedies, pharmaceuticals, and other household items. Because it is soluble in both, water and alcohol, its versatility is a major benefactor in its purported growth and popularity within the manufacturing sector. It is invaluable as a natural source ingredient with emollient-like properties which can soften and soothe the skin and it assists the outer epidermis to retain moisture. This helps to explain why it is one of the most popular cosmetic additives used today.
This is a Vegetable Glycerine (Kosher product) derived from palm, and it is GMO-free and allergen-free. Glycerine is the result of a sophisticated extraction method called hydrolysis. This system is based on the fats and oils of a raw product (typically palm or coconut) that are then split into crude glycerol fats, under the combined action of water, temperature and pressure. These temperatures can exceed 400° degrees and the material is usually kept under pressure for 20-30 minutes. What is actually occurring is a sort of counter-flow where the water absorbs glycerol from the fatty acid phase of the oil production. After this phase this glycerol is isolated and further distilled to give buyers a standard 99% Glycerine product (our Best Natures Cosmetic Variety is actually 99.5%).

Unit price perGrapefruit Seed Extract Natural Antioxidant - Natural Preservative used in various carrier oils to prolong their shelf life.
Grapefruit Seed Extract is used primarily as an antioxidant in oil serums and creams.
It has become increasingly popular as a 'natural' preservative in DIY products, though it is important to understand that Grapefruit Seed Extract is not in itself a full-spectrum preservative.
In fact, botanical ingredients that are touted as natural, once used with a water phase, must be preserved to keep microbial counts down to safe levels. A full-spectrum preservative would therefore need to be added to achieve the desired results. As always, customers are advised to conduct their own trials to determine suitability for their purposes.
Grapefruit Seed Extract is primarily derived from the seeds and membranes of the grapefruit. Please note that this product contains gluten free glycerine as a base and synthetic ascorbic acid for adjusting the pH.
Usage:
• As an antioxidant, it is well used in various carrier oils to prolong their shelf life.
• 100% soluble in most vegetable oils and animal lipids even at low temperatures. Soluble in water and alcohol and organic solvents.
• Compatible with most cosmetic raw materials.
• Recommended use levels in a finished formulation is 0.1 to 1.0%.
•The most effective range is the 1.5 – 3.0 when the GSE is in its purest form, but it works out of that range as well.

Unit price perHemp seed oil contain a beneficial amount of amino acids, and vitamin E as well. It is a natural antioxidant, and the oil doesn't stick to your skin as many oils have a tendency to do. It is rich in not only Omega-3 and Omega-6, but also Omega-9 - this will allow hemp seed oil to moisturize your skin and keep it healthy - and it does this without clogging your pores.
Potassium and calcium are also found in hemp seed oil products, making it even healthier for your skin.
Hemp seed oil is used for the great effect it has on moisturizing and hydrating the skin, while bringing a host of other benefits such as recompensing for lower ceramide levels in the skin and thereby reducing the appearance of wrinkles.
Hemp seed oil contains ingredients that gives it unique anti-inflammatory properties that are not often found in other oils. This, added to its antioxidant properties, allows hemp oil to detoxify and clean your skin, as well as evening out your skin tone.
Our Hemp Seed Oil is Cold Pressed at a temperature less than 50°C, thus preserving the natural antioxidants, tocopheroles (Vitamin E) and Omega 3,6&9 Essential Fatty Acids. Being unrefined, Hempseed Oil has been left in its virgin state after pressing. It has smell of freshly cut grass. The oil is dark green color, perfect for use directly on the skin alone, or with the addition of essential oils. However, we do not recommend the addition of essential oils if using on babies under 3 months or you have extremely sensitive skin.
Hemp Seed Oil is extremelly rich in Linoleic acid : Oleic Acid - 10.71%, Linoleic Acid - 56.48%. It's incredibly softening and moisturizing
Remember that the secret is choosing the right oils with the right balance of fatty acids. Avoiding oils or using constantly oil-free products can cause you problems like an imbalance on skin sebum and also, depriving the skin of so needed essential nutrients.
Happens that the sebum of people with oily to very oily skin types is high in oleic acid, and as noted above, this can be a problem.
Why oils are necessary? When treating acne, usually people layer many drying and irritating products and moisturizing is needed. Instead of choosing any regular moisturizer, would be a better choice an oil high in linoleic acid to avoid overdrying and to balance skin sebum. Oils are also healthier and cheaper than any other moisturizer and feed the skin with very needed essential nutrients and antioxidants. Also, the oils high in linoleic acid are often the so called "dry oils", which are known to be very light, fast-absorbing and non-comedogenic.
